Terms of Use.

DIFF AI is operated by Differentiation Academy Limited (trading as DIFF Academy and DIFF), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16578456, registered office 94–96 Coppermill Road, Wraysbury, Staines-upon-Thames, England, TW19 5NS.

By creating an account or using DIFF AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Contact: rohan@diffacademy.com.

DIFF AI is an 11+ learning tool for families. It provides adaptive practice, weekly plans, homework and feedback, and progress reporting for a parent to read.

It is a support tool. It is not a school, not a substitute for teaching, and not admissions advice. Nothing in DIFF AI is a guarantee of any exam result, school place, score or outcome.

DIFF AI is an early beta provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and content may be incomplete. We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis and do not promise uninterrupted availability. Please keep your own copies of anything you would not want to lose.

There is no charge for DIFF AI today. We do not operate subscriptions, trials, card storage or payments, and we will not take payment without asking you to agree to new terms first.

Accounts are for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. You confirm you have parental responsibility for each child you add, and you are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password private.

Children do not get their own logins. Supervised practice mode is started from your signed-in account and is intended to be used with your knowledge.

Use DIFF AI only for your own family's learning. Do not attempt to access other families' data, break or probe the service, scrape or resell content, upload unlawful or harmful material, or impersonate anyone.

Do not enter health, disability, SEND or other sensitive information into free-text fields or uploads. We do not ask for it and do not want to hold it.

Some wording in DIFF AI is drafted with an AI model from structured academic data and then reviewed by a person before it is used. AI output can be wrong or generic. It is never a grade, a diagnosis, an assessment of ability, or admissions advice, and you should apply your own judgement to it.

You keep ownership of what you and your child upload. You give us permission to store and process it so we can run the service for you. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Questions, curriculum material, designs and software in DIFF AI belong to Differentiation Academy Limited or its licensors. You may use them for your own family's learning, and not for commercial use, redistribution or tuition to others.

We take child safety seriously. If you have a concern about a child's safety arising from use of DIFF AI, contact us immediately at rohan@diffacademy.com. In an emergency, contact the police or your local children's services first.

You can stop using DIFF AI at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if we discontinue the beta. Because the service is free, no refunds arise.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, and because DIFF AI is supplied free of charge, we are not liable for exam results, school admission outcomes, lost data, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the effective date and version above and tell account holders by email where the change is significant.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
